Currently serves as Principal Consultant of Orais Consultancy Services. He has extensive experience of more than 30 years in corporate planning, business development and organisational development in various senior managerial capacities.

Othman was seconded to UNCTAD on PORTMIS (Port Management Information System) Project (1983 – 1984), Messrs Proudfoot on change management initiatives (1993 -1995), Messrs Price Waterhouse (1997 – 1998) and Messrs Hewitts Associates (2002 – 2004) on HR and organisational development projects. In 2007 – 2008 he has assisted the Selangor State Government implement the Balanced Scorecard (a.k.a Sistem Kad Prestasi) across its statewide agencies and GLCs.

He holds a Fellowship of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (U.K) and M.Sc. (Mgmt). He is also a Certified Trainer by Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad; BSC Collaborative-Trained BSC Facilitator; GE-Trained Change Champion, IATC Certified ISO 9001:2000 Lead Auditor and UNDP/Trainmar-Trained Port Planner.
